Suhner Injectors – Mid Range WS Series

WS-Injectors are built with conveyor belt widths 300 and 450 mm, equipped with one or two needle heads. The WS-models come with 10-240 needles or tenderizing knives. Manual adjustment of all parameters makes the mechanical WS-Injectors easy to operate and maintain.
The high Swiss quality standard of the stainless steel frame and components, guarantee durability with consistent and accurate performance. There are actually some WS-Injectors that were sold the end of the 1960’s, which are still in operation today. In some cases, the equipment has been passed on through three generations.

The pump pressure, belt advance as well as the needle frames (with product adaptable passage height), are manually adjustable without tools. When operating with WSmodels (450 mm conveyor width), pump pressure and working cycles can be regulated directly by electronic control. The frequency control allows various stroke speeds of the needle frame, making various needle patterns and higher yield possible.

For an even brine distribution, without constant pressure, the WS-models have a reliable needle frame with the sealing stripper system. No brine can exit the needles before entering the product. Brine that cannot exit the needles because of non-penetration or an obstruction, (bone) is automatically returned into the system or brine tank. Together with the high grade stainless steel impeller/rotor pump, constant pressure is assured every second it is needed.

Depending on the application and the processors specific needs, high quality components such as needles, stripper plates, pumps, conveyor belts, are custom fitted to guarantee highest satisfaction and quality in the processors final product. Quick change needle heads make fast application changes possible.

Filters, conveyor and needles are all removable without tools and make the cleaning process efficient and easy to handle. The cleaning beam for the needle frame ensures that all needles are rinsed completely after processing ensuring there is no plugging in any way.
