Stalam for defrosting Fruits and Fruit Juices

In May 2018 Stalam has successfully installed the first RF equipment for the defrosting of coconut juice, kiwi puree, carrot juice, crushed pineapple and IQF strawberries.

The customer, Pulmuone co., Ltd., is Korea’s leading company for wholesome foods. Thanks to the Stalam RF machine, the defrosting time has decreased from 1 week to 30-40 minutes, with significant labour savings and production logistics improvements. Moreover, the process can now be carried out without using plastic crates, with huge savings in terms of space. IQF fruits can be defrosted without drip loss, thus obtaining a great increase in product yield.
